ITANAGAR, Sep 8: All Arunachal Contractor’s Welfare Association (AACWA), urged the state government to initiate necessary action against the PWD (Highway) Nirjuli Division for failure to maintain the few kilometers of the National Highway in the twin capital. In a release, the AACWA said that despite the government approving funds for its repairs and maintenance, the condition of the highway gets worse every summer season. It further also urged the state government to direct all concerned departments to work on a mission mode to draw out an appropriate  plan for the beautification of the state capital in line with other developed cities across the country.
