ITANAGAR, Mar 1: The All Arunachal Contractor's Welfare Association (AACWA), the apex organization of contractor's fraternity of the state has demanded status of state financial position citing non payment of bills.
Contractors are crying for payments of their executed projects under state government. Minister Law and Justice, Kiren Rijiju has said that the Centre is providing sufficient funds to Arunachal Pradesh for developmental activities but here many contractors who are doing works under both centre and state funded schemes are facing huge financial crisis, the Association said citing several instances including the recent sealing of Pasighat Outdoor Stadium by the concerned contractor over non-payment.
