ITANAGAR, Sep 23: Irked with the dilapidated road condition and slow progress of national highway, All Arunachal Contractor’s Welfare Association (AACWA) has urged the PWD Highway division to fill-up potholes of national highway between Naharlagun to Banderdewa. ACCWA also urged the department to instruct the TK Consortium to fill the various potholes at their working site from Naharlagun to Itanagar.
In its press communiqué, it also urged Chief Minister Pema Khandu led government to give top priority to the road communication problem of the state capital. The government is keeping silent over the road condition. The highway of Itanagar-Naharlagun is not fit for moving even for small cars. The works progress from Chandan nagar to Papunalah phase –I of four lane road is in slow progress and materials and qualities of works is need to be supervised by the state government, added AACWA.
Further, it urge the state government to release the funds allocated against various schemes like SADA, SIDF and RE of last financial years -2016-17, 2017-18 and 2018-19.
