ITANAGAR, Dec 14: The All Arunachal Contractors’ Welfare Association (AACWA) has sought intervention from the Chief Secretary to resolve the issue of parking problem in front of the State Civil Secretariat here in the state capital arising out of the restrictions currently in force.
In a representation to the CS, the association has reasoned that since the Covid-19 situation has improved which earlier prompted the administration to impose the restrictions, parking rules should now be eased to allow common people to gain access of the Secretariat for their official engagements ranging from seeking information regarding movements of files and so on.
The association has further alleged that rules are not equal for all as it’s difficult for the commoners to park vehicles, whereas it is easy for others like well-contacted individuals or NGO leaders.
