Indian Army conducts ‘Know Your Army’ outreach
ITANAGAR, Jan 28: The All Arunachal Contractors’ Welfare Association (AACWA) has appealed to the state government to release the funds allotted for various central schemes like MGNREGA, PMGSY, PMKSY and others that have already been received from the Centre and currently lying with the state exchequer.
In a press release issued today AACWA while highlighting the financial difficulties faced by the contractors due to the ‘pick and choose policy’ adopted by the state government, said this would help the working departments to clear their pending bills. The association has further urged the state government to direct all the working departments not to implement the Arunachal Pradesh District Based Entrepreneurs and Profession (Incentive Development and Promotion) Amendment Act 2020 as a modification has been assured in this regard which has been delayed due to the recent PR elections.
AACWA has already announced that it will file a PIL if the act is not modified.
