ITANAGAR, Jun 3: The erring IRBn jawan who recorded the video which showed that on-duty police personnel were conversing with YouTuber Paras Singh while guarding him in  Under Trial Prisoner (UTP) cell and later circulated it on social media has been suspended.
Commandant,  4th IRBN Chimpu has suspended the jawan identified as Head Constable Nani Talley of 4th IRBn,C-COY BHQ Jully. In the suspension order, the  Commandant stated that disciplinary proceedings have been contemplated against the HC for making video clips of UTP Paras who is lodged in District Jail Jully and  currently under judicial remand in connection with Case No. 05/21 u/s 124A/153A/505(2) of the IPC.
Under  powers conferred by Sub Rule 1(a) of Rule 20 of the APP (Discipline and Appeal) Rules 1999, HC Nani Talley of 4Th IRBn dully is placed under suspension with immediate effect,  the order mentioned.
