PASIGHAT, Jul 11:  Expressing resentment over the lackadaisical attitude of the concern authority, Pasighat Peoples’ Welfare Committee (PPWC) has served  five days ultimatum to Commissioner Power urging complete restoration of power connectivity in Pasighat failing whichit has threatened to resort 12 hours East Siang bandh on July 17 next.

 In its statement, Chairman PPWC cum ZPM Bogong-II, Okom Yosung, informed that the authority has failed to fulfill its assurances given in July 2016 last. Authority had assured for drawing 5 MW power supply from 33/11 kv Jonai Sub-Station, Assam from existing 3 MW to meet the requirements.

Beside assurances was made to restore the existing faulty mini Hydels of Sille and Yembung. Authority were miserably  failed to  restore  fault within 24 hour in between Aalo-Pasighat 132/33 kv line, he added.
