BOMDILA, Jul 3:Commissioner (GA/DA and Education) Hage Kojeen, during his weeklong tour of West Kameng and Tawang, inspected various ongoing projects in the districts.

Today at district headquarters Bomdila, he inspected the Multi level Parking lot and the Multi-purpose Community Hall being executed by PWD for an estimated cost of 3.50 crores each. He also inspected the CC pavement township road.

At the DDTH office, the Commissioner visited the under construction Sales Emporium cum conference hall being executed by WRD for an amount of 1 crore. Also, he inspected the Buddhist Cultural cum conference hall at Buddha Peace Park which is nearing completion.

At Shanti Deva Vidyalaya Upper Gompa, he inspected the completed academic and administrative block executed by RWD which was funded under NLCPR for an amount of 2.97 crores and the Kitchen block executed by DRDA under Untied fund for an amount of 8 lacs.

Expressing satisfaction over the quality of the works, the Commissioner directed the officers of the executing agencies to complete the projects on time as per target to avoid cost escalation.

On Sunday last, the Commissioner visited the Taktsang ME School in Tawang under Zemithang circle located in the Indo-China border accompanied by DC i/c, ADC Lumla, DDSE, BEOs and others.

Despite the school being located in a remote corner, the pass percentage in c/VIII has been hundred percent this year. Incidentally, the Commissioner observed that, the school is being run by five teachers belonging to SSA. He advised the teachers to keep up the spirit and continue to work with commitment.

As the surface communication of the Balipara-Charduar-Tawang (BCT) road is yet to be completely through, the Commissioner is leaving for Itanagar through the OKSRT road on Tuesday.
