ITANAGAR, Nov 9: The morality play, the tragical history of Doctor Faustus was enacted by the students of Semester V, English Major students.
The students were divided into five groups and each group enacted one Act each. The theatrical performance went on for three long hours.
The Head of Department Dr. Eli Doye expressed his appreciation to the students for their enactments and dedication to be prepared for the play.
The Principal of DNGC Dr. M Q Khan lauded the Department of English for their student centric activities from time to time and encouraged other departments as well to take up such activities.
The play was coordinated by Nending Ommo, Assistant Professor, DNGC. He expressed his contentment over the shrewd preparedness and dedication to the task assigned to the students. The play was witnessed by all the faulty of Department of English.
Dr. Taro Sindik, Assistant Professor of Hindi graced the occasion as the Special invitee to witness the play.
