KHONSA, Jul 8: Tirap Learning Centre, the first of its kind institute in Tirap district for imparting coaching to the district’s youths for taking various competitive job exams including the ones conducted by APSSB was inaugurated today by Deputy Commissioner Taro Mize in presence of DDSE Hortum Loyi and other dignitaries.
Inaugurating the centre, the DC congratulated the two young entrepreneurs Jewang Sumnyan and Wangchak Hakhun for the noble initiative. Despite being one of the oldest districts in the state, a coaching centre of this kind to help the youths of Tirap and Longding in preparing for the tough competitive job exams was needed, the DC said while launching the prospectus. Appreciating the initiative, the DDSE appealed to the youths to avail the facility.
President, Khonsa Bazar Welfare Committee Jiten Wangchha recalled that the idea of the coaching centre was conceived way back in 2014 by a few like-minded youths of the district while studying in Delhi. Since its establishment in 2018, Tirap Learning Centre has been providing career counselling to the youths of Tirap, Changlang and Longding. DIPRO
