SEPPA, Oct 16: Chief Minister Pema Khandu is  consistently monitoring the foot-based search operation team for Everester Tapi Mra and his assistant Niku Dao, informed Dosh Dasi, member of Tagin Cultural Society (TCS) who is also supervising the situation.
Dasi in a press statement also informed that  Secretary Disaster Management  Dani Salu as per the direction of the CM has directed the officials to confer all  support  and helicopter is on standby to pick up the 13-member foot-based search operation team at any time in case of any eventuality.
Salu also informed that required medicines will be provided to the foot-based search operation team through helicopter as and when need arises.
A copy of order from the state government granting permission to the team of volunteers and family members to carry out search and rescue operation as per the representation submitted and Indemnity Bond signed by them for search and rescue operation of mountainers Tapi Mra and Niku Dao has been conveyed to Governor of Arunachal Pradesh, added Dasi.
