ITANAGAR, Oct 9: Magic Club Arunachal celebrated its 7th foundation day today by installing dustbins at various locations in several towns such as Roing, Pasighat, Ziro, Raga, Bordumsa, Daporijo, Seppa and Itanagar. At Itanagar, members installed 51 dustbins at Vivek Vihar and DC Office, Itanagar.
The Deputy Commissioner Itanagar Capital Region, Komkar Dulom also handed over Certificate of Appreciation for their contribution in the Covid-19 pandemic wherein the volunteers had helped the District Administration in distributing relief items to the needy people.
The DC urged the volunteers to continue rendering selfless services for the cause of society. He said such organisations who work without any expectation in return are the need of the hour who can contribute their share along with the government for overall development of the state.
Informing the agenda of Hamara Arunachal Abhiyan, the DC asked them to work for such initiative that foresees a dream to have a safe, clean, green, serene and self reliant Capital.
He also urged them to continue with their work so that more people get motivated to work for the cause of the society.
