Yachuli, Nov 19: The newly inducted APCS officers and academic toppers of Yachuli Assembly Constituency were felicitated by the Yachuli Constituency Employees Forum (YCEF) in presence of Education Minister Er. Taba Tedir here at the general ground today.
Speaking on the importance of International Men’s Day which was also observed on the day, Tedir highlighted the recent developments in the constituency such as creation of Paramputu Circle, laying of foundation stone and a well-defined boundary of Divisional Commissioner's office, establishment of Yazali Power Division, Deed Rural Bank, police outpost at Deed and MLA Excellency award. Stressing on the need to pursue the ‘vocal for local’ vision, the Minister urged all stakeholders to work in making Yachuli an organic pride of India. While underscoring the importance of promoting extracurricular activities in schools such as training on traditional handicrafts for reviving the state’s lost traditions, he appealed to the teachers to adopt newer teaching techniques to keep in tune with the changing teaching-learning pattern. Deputy Director of School Education Tabia Chobin hoped Yachuli would be a model constituency and an educational hub in the state.
Marking the National Integration Day which is observed annually on November 19 to commemorate the birth anniversary of Late Prime Minister Indira Gandhi, a pledge was administered by ADC Toko Babu.
