ITANAGAR, Aug 5: Arunachal Pradesh State Commission for Protection of Child Rights (APSCPCR) has taken suo motu cognizance of the rape and attempt to murder case of a 12-year old minor girl in Maitripur, Diyun in Changlang district.
APSCPCR Chairperson Gumri Ringu has condemned the heinous crime and directed the Superintendent of Police, Changlang to book the culprit, one Priyo Dewan and ensure stringent punishment under relevant sections of law. While informing the Commission’s Chairperson that the girl is in a critical condition, the SP has assured all-possible help to the victim.
