Kimin, Sep 13: As a part of the ongoing Poshan Maah celebrations, Chairperson, Arunachal Pradesh State Commission for Protection of Child Rights (APSCPCR), Gumri Ringu along with her team visited five  Anganwadi  Centres namely Durpa-I, Durpa school colony, Dokhum Village, Kakoi-II and Kakoi- Sappa under  Kimin ICDS Project on Monday to oversee the implementation of the initiative.
While interacting with children in the Anganwadi Centres  the team sensitised them on good  health practices  and  protection of girls and child abuse in schools.
The team also interacted with the PRI members, Anganwadi Workers, Self help groups and implementing officials and urged them for cooperation and sincere efforts to make the programme a success.
On finding the Anganwadi Centres in dilapidated conditions, the Chairperson  further assured to report the findings to the higher authorities. She later checked all the stock registers and other registers maintained by the Anganwadi Workers  and suggested for regular  and proper reporting.
