BASAR, Apr 6: Chief Secretary Naresh Kumar on his maiden visit to Leparada District held a coordination meeting with all Head of Departments at headquarters Basar. He asked the HoDs to brief their problems and underline their roadmap for proper and early development of the district. He assured to consider the grievances put forth by the HoDs for proper development of the district.
MLA Gokar Basar briefed the Chief Secretary about his development plan for Leparada district and asked help for the smooth and proper development of the district. Basar further assured not to compromise with the quality of development projects.
The Chief Secretary inspected the ICAR farm, Basar and interacted with Joint Director, ICAR alongwith his officers. He suggested to improve and improvise the farm inorder to supply seeds to farmers of the whole state. Kumar distributed agriculture inputs like spray machine, Assam lemon, vermi-compost and distributed feeds and lime of Fishery department to the beneficiaries. He assured to provide help for the improvement of the ICAR farm and asked them to submit the proposal for the benefit of the farmers.
The Chief Secretary inspected the construction site of 40-bedded District Hospital and reviewed the progress of construction. He further directed the executing agency not to compromise with the work quality in the construction of the building. 
He also inspected the Govt. Higher Secondary School, Basar and interacted with teaching faculties. He expressed sadness over the dilapidated condition of the school and assured to provide fund from any source for early construction of school building as well as for construction of school playground.
Among others, DC Duly Kamduk, SP P.N.Thongdok accompanied the Chief Secretary during the visit.
