Pasighat, Dec 11: As a part of the ‘Brahmaputra Aamantran Abhiyan 2020’, College of Horticulture & Forestry and College of Agriculture, CAU, Pasighat in collaboration with the District Tourism department, East Siang organized a debate competition on the topic ‘Ecotourism with Rivers’ with the theme ‘Living with the River’ today here at the college auditorium.
Altogether eighteen debaters from the UG level, out of which 13 were girls participated in the competition sponsored by the Brahmaputra Board, Union Ministry of Jal Shakti. The participants were nominated by different institutions and organizations of the district such as College of Horticulture & Forestry, College of Agriculture, Jawaharlal Nehru College, AYANG Foundation and Apex Professional University.
Mumdi Pertin from the College of Agriculture, Pasighat was adjudged the overall champion of the competition.
