DOIMUKH, Oct 21: The District Health Society, Papum Pare District celebrated the completion of 100 Crore Covid-19 vaccinations with the rest of the country at Community Health Centre, Doimukh. During the occasion 100 balloons were blown and 100 oil lamps were lighted in the Community Health Centre, Doimukh as a mark of achieving the milestone.  100 vaccinated beneficiaries and health workers were felicitated by the DMO Dr. Komling Perme with Certificates of Appreciation.
On the sidelines of the celebration, the Global Iodine Deficiency Disorder Day was also observed in the CHC, Doimukh. Speaking on the occasion DRCHO Dr. Neyang Nitik highlighted on the various diseases and disorders caused due to Iodine deficiency in a human body. The District Epidemiologist cum In-charge DPO (NIDDCP) Ili Angu sensitized the participants on the MBI Kits used for salt analysis. The programme was attended by the  Medical Officers, ASHAs,  and other Paramedical staff. DIPRO
