Tezu, Nov 11: Former Minister and BJP spokesperson Dr Mohesh Chai was given a rousing welcome today on his homecoming after being appointed as Chairman of the Arunachal Pradesh Mineral Development & Trading Cooperation Limited (APMD&TC).
Executive Members of BJP Lohit district unit, senior citizens, party workers, well-wishers and supporters welcomed Dr Chai with bouquets and garlands. Extending gratitude to the Chief Minister and senior BJP leaders for reposing faith in him by giving appointment as Chairman, APMD&TC, he said that the Chief Minister has a special love for the district. “The CM had promised during the Tamladu golden jubilee celebration to assign me an important post in his government which he fulfilled and I will deliver my best for the government and the party,” Dr Chai asserted while urging the supporters and party workers to give wholehearted efforts in the upcoming Panchayat elections. “I also heartily welcome Karikho Kri, the local MLA and his supporters for getting merged with the saffron brigade which will strengthen the party. I hope we will work in tandem for the progress and overall development of Lohit district,” he added.
Meanwhile, various senior BJP workers including former Minister Nakul Chai also extended gratitude to the CM for appointing Dr Chai as the Chairman of APMD&TC and pledged to give their best during the approaching Panchayat elections to elect party candidates in 44th Tezu-Sunpura constituency.
