Itanagar, Aug 11: The Chief Secretary Naresh Kumar chaired a coordination meeting with the Principal Secretaries, Commissioners, Secretaries, Directors, and Deputy Commissioners at Civil Secretariat today.
The meeting was called to expedite developmental activities in the State including implementation of Centrally Sponsored Schemes.
The Chief Secretary was earlier on an official tour to Delhi along with the Chief Minister Pema Khandu and Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein where they met with the Union Ministers covering 15 Ministries of Government of India. The Government of India is more than willing to help Arunachal Pradesh in the developmental process provided we send them complete proposals at the earliest, Kumar said. He told the officers to send quality proposals and ensure that the proposals are genuine for easy and early consideration from the government of India.
Other points of discussion were preparation of a roadmap for climate change Department of Forest & Environment to prepare, develop Digital Village, develop CM Sunwai Portal by IT Department, Tribal Village for Tourism development, financial aid to SHG in the form of Loans from the Banks for livelihood activities, development of border areas etc.
