ITANAGAR, Jul 5:Deputy Commissioner, Capital Complex, Prince Dhawan on Wednesday felicitated the toppers of CBSE Class X and XII from Puroik community in a small function organized by All Puroik Students Union (APSU) and sponsored by the APSED (Arunachal Pradesh Society for Education and Development).

The students were provided with a medal and certificate of appreciation along with commendation certificates.

Speaking on the occasion, Dhawan termed Education as a medium through which one can dream of a better future and exhorted the students to study hard as the true identity of a person can be achieved only through education.

The DC further stressed that education is like a race which may take long, but at the end there is always sweetness. He further lauded the APSU, APWS (All Puroik Welfare Society) for organizing such programme and highlighted various schemes that have been introduced by the Government to provide various opportunities to the unemployed youths of the state.

Vijay Sonam, Chairman APSED recalled his early days as a leader of the student union and urged upon the student leaders to always keep education as priority and asked the unemployed youths to make use of various training provided for skill development.
