ITANAGAR, Feb 13: The first ever Cross Country Athletics Championship 2021 organized by the Arunachal Athletics Association was held today here at the 1st Bn Ground, Chimpu. 
The championship had the categories of Open (Men and Women), Under-20, Under-18 and Under-16. Tago Sonam secured the first position in the Open (Men) category and 62-year old Tato Cheke came second. Yabang Tali was the winner in the Women category and Biki Yatang was adjudged the second.
Dasu Hailyang won the Under-20 category, Harang Cheri emerged winner in Under-18 and Duyu Hinda in Under-16 category, a release stated.
