ITANAGAR, Jul 2: Days after issuing prohibitory orders restricting sale of IMFL illegally, running of late night bars and pubs, the capital complex administration on Saturday night raided several hotels, bars, pubs and other shops running illegally along the national highway.

The team was led by the Deputy Commissioner cum District Magistrate Prince Dhawan himself along with Executive Magistrate Jiken Bomjen, K Ningu, SDPO Hanyir Techi, Excise Inspector N Bida and police personnel.

Assuring to continue similar surprise raids, the DC said that the administration will not tolerate such nuisance on the streets late night and will take action against those found violating the executive order. The order has been taken in the greater interest of the common masses, he added.

He further warned all to abide with the timings of opening and closing of wines shop, bar, pubs and other DJ nite organisers.
