KHONSA, Nov 15: A candlelight condolence was conducted in memory of Techi Meena Lishi and her unborn child, at Khonsa Bazaar, Tirap district today. The programme was organised by Sontung Bangsia, Chairperson, Women's Welfare Association, Khonsa and Khuntik Khusia, President, Tutsa Students' Union, Tirap District. The programme was attended by Nocte Mothers Federation, civil society, All Tirap Students' Union, Ollo Students' Union along with many public leaders and various community based organisations in attendance. The people of Tirap strongly condemn the brutal murder. We strongly appeal for immediate justice for late Techi Meena and to give exemplary punishment to all the culprits involved in this heinous crime, said the organizing members.
