ITANAGAR, Nov 29: Amidst the uproar against the proposed Citizenship Amendment Bill across all the Northeastern states, Union Home Minister Amit Shah has called a meeting of all the political parties, students organizations and community based organizations of Arunachal Pradesh at New Delhi on November 30 next.
As per reports, Union Home Ministry has invited Chief Minister Pema Khandu, State Home Minister Bamang Felix, Mos Kiren Rijiju, MP (East) Tapir Gao, Minister Kamlung Mossang and MLA Namsai Zingnu Namchoom.
From the Indian National Congress, former Chief Minister cum President-APCC Nabam Tuki has been invited to participate in the meeting. President NPP (State) Gicho Kabak and Tapak Taku-MLA cum member Consultative Committee –CAB from the National Peoples Party whereas Hayang Mangfi from Janata Dal-United (JDU) and Kafha Bengia, President Peoples Party of Arunachal (PPA) have been invited.
President AAPSU Hawa Bagang, Vice President-AAPSU Mije Taku, Coordinator- NESO Pritam Sonam as well as President Arunachal Indigenous Tribes Forum (AITF) Bengia Tolum have been also invited to attend the meeting.
