SINCHUNG, Feb 13: Diying-Kho (Chhat Sowai ) the auspicious festival of the Bugun Community of West Kameng district was celebrated with traditional fervor and fanfare here today. Young and old, wearing traditional attire participated enthusiastically in the festival.
Elaborating about the festival, Phuntso Phinya , Community Land Advisor Sinchung  informed that the festival is being celebrated  for the well being of society. This festival is celebrated by the  Bugun Community  and this year festival prayers and offering are being performed for the good health and prosperity of the people living in Sinchung area, he added.
Basically prayers and offerings are performed for seven days  but nowadays it is limited to a day or two, added Phinya.
