ITANAGAR, Apr 5: Strongly dismissing the news going viral in social networking site claiming that the family of late Kenjum Kamsi has comprised with the accused Kajum Bagra’s family members  by taking 1 crore as compensation, elder brother of the deceased, Kenmi Kamsi has rubbished such claims and appealed the public not to be misguided by such vile rumours.

Quashing the report as totally baseless and false without an iota of truth, Kamsi termed it as creation and handiwork of some vested individuals in social networking sites to malign the integrity of the victim’s family.

“My brother’s life cannot be so cheap to be worth just one crore. How can people conclude by themselves that a compromise and compensation has been worked out,” asserted Kamsi clarifying that since his untimely demise on  March 25 last, the entire family has been struggling to overcome the trauma and running from pillar to post seeking justice.

Terming his late brother as a man of principle who lived by his rights and never compromised with wrong doers, Kamsi has strongly warned the rumour mongers to refrain from such false propaganda to humiliate the aggrieved family members.

Further thanking well-wishers who have shown solidarity and all possible support, he said “our fight for justice for my beloved brother will continue till exemplary punishment as per law is awarded to the accused.”

Earlier on the fateful night of March 25 last, Kenjum Kamsi,  a senior Congress party worker was allegedly shot at point blank by one Kajum Bagra following a scuffle in front a hotel in Aalo.
