PASIGHAT, May 11: The Border Roads Organization (BRO) with its Project Brahmank HQ at Raneghat near Pasighat, which has been buildings several road and bridge infrastructures all these years in the region, on Friday held an award ceremony at its auditorium and gave away certificates and cash prizes while rewarding the outstanding performers in their respective fields.
In a formal award ceremony held on Friday, Project Brahmank Chief Engineer (P), S.C. Looniya awarded 30 personnel and workers from CPS Likhabali, Aalo, Mechuka, Tuting etc under Project Brahmank for their efficient performances and devotion for construction of roads and bridges.
While handing over the certificates with cash rewards, S.C. Looniya, CE (P), Project Brahmank said that the BRO is performing its service for the nation by building roads and bridges across Arunachal Pradesh from the plain region of East Siang District to the difficult terrains of Upper Siang and Shi-Yomi District along the Indo-China border. “You the personnel and field workers are our backbone and because of your dedication and hard work we are able to serve the people and security forces in building roads and bridges,” Looniya told the awardees.
Meanwhile, a new and renovated URC (Unit Run Canteens) of Brahmank was dedicated to the personnel and families of HQ CE (P) Brahmank by Rajni Looniya, Zonal Chairperson of Border Road Wives Welfare Organization (BROWWA) in the presence of staff and families of HQ CE (P) Brahmank on Friday.
