Wakro, Aug 31: 48th Border Roads Organisation Task Force Commander Colonel Rajeev Dhingra while attending a cultural event organised in his honour assured that BRO will always be willing to support the initiatives of social welfare in the region.
Lauding the services of Siddhi Panth who was volunteering here at Apna Vidya Bhavan, the Commander remarked that such initiatives will be greatly instrumental in improving and uplifting life in rural India. Siddhi assisted children in learning English, Maths and EVS and ventured to devote time for the pre-primary younger children and was also presented a memento by the Commander. Siddhi who did her Masters in Biotechnology with Business from Brookes University in Oxford, UK had volunteered twice for a total of forty days.
Col Dhingra who was on a visit to the rural schools in Wakro interacted with students of the Apna Vidya Bhavan and the Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya. While interacting with community members he also expressed desire to make personal donation to any welfare cause in the area. ASSET PR
