WAKRO, Feb 16: Keeping in tune with the auspicious occasion of Saraswati Puja and displaying a caring gesture, Commander, 48 BRTF Col Saurabh Srivastava today visited two girl children, Reshma Halai and Konthoi Inju who are under care of the Indian Army and World Education Mission.
Maj Kishore Jit Baruah, EAC Tamo Riba and OCs Thomas Pertin and Rishabh Upadhyaya accompanied Col Srivastava who handed over financial assistance and appreciated the students and teachers for maintaining a vibrant educational atmosphere. The Commander assured Border Roads Organization’s commitment to assist welfare initiatives while Maj Baruah gave the assurance that Indian Army will always extend support to noble causes.
Students sang a patriotic song and performed dances at the BGR Enclave to mark the occasion. ASSET PR
