PASIGHAT, Mar 6: The Government of Arunachal funded British Council Phase II English Communicative Course that started at JN College on 28th February, culminated today on Saturday . The course was the ambitious project of the Department of Higher Education to empower the students of the colleges with communicative skills, language employability and perfection in articulatory speech to fit themselves in the fast changing world.
Three colleges -- DNGC (Itanagar), JNC (Pasighat) & IGGC (Tezu) were selected for the said course. Phase I course at JNC was delivered in February 2020 but the Phase II remained in the dark due to the devastating pandemic. Now that normalcy returning, the British Council came to deliver its Phase II Communicative Course at JNC. Two batches of 25 students each where the target beneficiaries of this course. Students across all streams participated with utmost zeal in this academic program for all 6 days. The Course was scheduled for 36 hours (6 hours a day) being perfectly administered by two British Council Trainers - Ms. Sweta Sinha and Ms. Shradhanjali Tamang. 
Speaking at the valedictory occasion, VP, Dr. S. D. Chaudhury appreciated the academic endeavours of both - the trainers and the trainee students. British Council certificates were distributed to all the participants in front of the spirited gathering.
