BOMDILA, Sep 15: A coordination meeting of the District Task Force (DTF) on National Deworming Day (NDD) was held here at the DC’s conference hall on Tuesday under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner, West Kameng Karma Leki.
In the first phase of NDD held from February 22 to March 2020, out of 23344 children of various government and private schools, Anganwadi centres and dropouts, 22953 had been covered, which is a 98.32% coverage. In the first quarter, Routine Immunization (RI) has covered 58.25% of its target so far. The second phase of NDD will be conducted from October 1-15 next and to reach out to maximum beneficiaries, door-to-door deworming process will be carried out maintaining all SOPs.
