ITANAGAR, Jun 11: The Chief Judicial Magistrate (CJM) court, Yupia today granted bail to YouTuber Paras Singh who was arrested last month for making racial remarks against senior Congress MLA Ninong Ering and for calling Arunachal Pradesh as part of China. The Ludhiana-based YouTuber was in judicial custody since May 27 last.
The court allowed Paras’s plea for bail on execution of a personal bond of Rs 10, 000 and set other conditions, including not permitting him to leave the country. 
Superintendent of Police (SIT) Rohit Rajbir Singh today confirmed that the Court has granted bail to Paras.
When contacted, the YouTuber's lawyer, Advocate Vijay Rotom  informed that the Court has granted bail to  Paras on conditions that he supports the police during the investigation and to be present at the Police station when called and not to leave the country during the bail period.
On May 26 last Punjab Police  arrested the Ludhiana-based YouTuber after a case was registered against him for making racial remarks against MLA Ninong Ering and he was also charged with inciting ill will and hatred towards the people of the northeastern state and calling Arunachal Pradesh 'part of China' in one of his YouTube videos. More than 10 FIRs were registered against Paras for his alleged racial slur in different police stations of the state. Three members from Special Investigating Team (SIT) of the state police had gone to Ludhiana and secured a three-day transit remand from a court there to bring the accused to Arunachal Pradesh. 22-year-old Paras was brought to Arunachal on May 27 last. 

On receipt of an FIR from MLA Ninong Ering on May 24 last, a CB-PS Case (No. 05/2021 u/s 124-A/153-A/505(2) of the IPC) was registered against the YouTuber.
