Aalo, Jan 9:  The first death anniversary of Boken Ete, the legendary grand old man and architect of West Siang district was observed in a low-key manner due to COVID protocols here at his residence on Friday by his family members and relatives.
The family members of late Ete assembled in a small gathering and while paying floral tributes observed a two-minute silence as a mark of respect to the pioneer and architect of the district and township.
Speaking on behalf of the family members, former Minister and Chairman, Aalo Town Peoples’ Welfare and Development Society Kento Ete appealed to the family members and friends to uphold the principles of truth and honesty espoused by Boken Ete and contribute to the overall development of the township in particular and humanity in general.
