ITANAGAR, Sep 13: The 12 NDRF today recovered the body of a 17-year-old boy who drowned in the Ranganadi river at Kimin on Saturday.
The deceased Pankaj Gurung, hailing from Budh Bazar, Lakhimpur district of Assam drowned while taking bath in the river.
Team consisting of 20 personnel under command of Insp/GD L Bojesh conducted an extensive search operation since Sunday with the help of boats and deep divers after receiving the information. The body has been handed over to the local police.
