Yachuli, Sep 19: The Office of the Electoral Registration Officer (ERO), Yachuli, today organized a vital training session for Booth Level Officers (BLOs) of Keyi Panyor District. The program was held at the Mini Secretariat to prepare for the forthcoming Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of the Electoral Roll 2025.
The session, chaired by Likha Teji, ERO Yachuli, emphasised the detailed procedures for the electoral roll revision, with a special focus on a Table-Top Exercise designed to map the 2025 Electoral Roll with data from 2006. Likha Teji underlined the importance of accuracy and timeliness in this process to ensure a clean, transparent and updated electoral roll.
All BLOs have been instructed to complete the mapping exercise and submit their reports by Tuesday, September 23, without fail.
In his address, the ERO directed the officers present to extend guidance and assistance to their fellow BLOs who could not attend the training, thereby ensuring a uniform and coordinated approach across the district. He further assured that the District Election Officer (DEO) will closely monitor the progress and extend necessary support wherever required.
This training marks an important milestone in the preparatory activities for the comprehensive electoral roll revision in Keyi Panyor District.
