Aalo, Sep 26: Aalo East MLA Advocate Kento Jini felicitated all the voluntary blood donors of West Siang district who donated blood during the pandemic in a function organized by the Arunachal Voluntary Blood Donors’ Organization (AVBDO) held today at Gumin Kiin.
Giving away the certificates and mementos to the donors, Advocate Jini while reminding the medical benefits of donating blood and its humanitarian aspect informed that he is in constant touch with the medical fraternity to improve the condition of Aalo General Hospital and posting of more specialist doctors.
Besides assuring all help to AVBDO, he urged the youths to come forward in the fight against the menace of drugs in the district. Project Director DRDA Jiken Bomjen said that for improvement of health delivery system in the district, District Administration, Health department and civil society have to work in unison. DMO Dr. Moli Riba said efforts are on to give a good shape to the General Hospital.
Chairman, AVBDO Ramesh Jeke gave an account of his early days of taking ahead the blood donation campaign across various districts and expressed gratitude to the MLA for providing blood testing kits and ensuring blood bank facilities during pandemic. DIPRO
