Itanagar, Apr 19: A block level health mela was organised by the department of Health headed by the DMO ICC Dr Mandip Perme at the Primary Health Centre, Chimpu today with an aim to bring various services provided by the department to a single platform for the convenience of the public.
Various services like cataract screening, Health ID card registration, PMJAY/ CMAAY card issue/ blood donation camp, registration for organ donation, Tele consultation, NCD screening, Family Planning awareness/ MPC etc were provided during the mela.
GPC Chimpu Nabam Yajo inaugurated the mela and urged the residents of Chimpu area in particular and Itanagar  to take benefit from the camp.
DMO Perme informed that the Health Mela has been organised as part of Azadi ka Amrut Mahotsav. He said another mela for Naharlagun block would be conducted on 21st April at UPHC Karsingsa. He appealed to the denizens of the capital to come forward and avail various services provided during the mela.
Deputy Commissioner Capital Itanagar Talo Potom also appealed to the denizens to take part in the mela which would be held on April 21st next.
A total of 390 beneficiaries were benefited today in various services including 73 in NCD, 51 in health ID generation, 14 in blood donation, 30 Ayush patients, 51 in Cataract screening etc along with receiving of 35 nos of forms under PMJAY and 17 nos of enrolment and card generation under CMAAY.
