AALO, Mar 7: A three-day block-level foundation cum functional programme on Panchayati Raj system—Empowering Panchayati Raj system through SPICE model, for Aalo East assembly constituency was organized by the State Institute of Rural Development and Panchayati Raj (SIRDA PR).
The training is expected to benefit Panchayati Raj members of both Aalo East & Aalo West Assembly Constituencies, self help groups of West Siang district.
Assistant Director cum Resource person (SIRD) Itanagar, Rode Bui in detail told the trainees to be well equipped with good knowledge of Panchayati Raj system. He further added that the training is to facilitate rural development efforts by improving the knowledge, skills and attitudes of rural development officials, panchayat leaders, grassroots level organizations through training, conferences and seminars etc by covering the centrally sponsored schemes like MGNREGA,NRLM, NRuM etc.
