ITANAGAR, Jan 5: Member of Parliament from Mangaldoi and BJP's National General Secretary and Arunachal Pradesh In-charge Dilip Saikia arrived here in the capital on Tuesday for a four-day official tour to the state.
Saikia was received by State BJP General Secretaries MLA Chau Zingu Namchoom and Nalong Mize, Party Vice Presidents Kenjom Pakam and Yalem Taga Burang, Secretary and Media In-charge Tadar Niglar and Secretary Junty Singpho at the Raj Bhavan helipad. 
On arrival he visited the ABVP office in Chandanagar and interacted with the karyakartas. As part of his four-day tour, Saikia will visit Ziro, the headquarters of Lower Subansiri district and offer prayers at India’s largest shiva linga located in Kardo. He will also conduct meetings with party karyakartas of the district and Booth Level Committees (BLCs) on Wednesday. Along with these, the National General Secretary is expected to have interactive sessions with the representatives of Tanw Dukun Supun and President of Nyishi Elite Society  at Ziro and Yazali respectively. On the following day on January 7, Saikia will be holding a meeting with the karyakartas of the BLC committees of 16-Yachuli Assembly Constituency at Yazali.  Meetings are also planned with various party office bearers, district presidents and the newly elected councillors and corporators. 

He is also expected to hold interactive sessions with community based organizations (CBO’s) at the capital's state guest house on the day as a goodwill, pan-Arunachal and pan-India gesture.
