 ITANAGAR, Apr 6:  The largest political party in the world, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) observed its ‘37th Sthapana Diwas’ across the country. Joining the celebrations, state unit of BJP also observed the day here today in its head office, Itanagar. Deputy Chief Minister, Chowna Mein, State President Tapir Gao, former Chief Minister Gegong Apang and other party executives, senior leaders, legislators, Parliamentary Secretaries and others attended the celebration.

 Greeting the gathering, Gao urged the party workers to develop more responsibility towards the party and state. Appealing all the members to strictly promote the 83 developmental schemes launched by the Modi sarkar, he exhorted party workers to educate the common public about it so that they can take full advantage of the developmental initiatives of the State Government.

He also urged all to download the BHIM App and   encourage others to download it so that people can avail the convenience of digital banking at their palm top.

Gao further informed the from April 15 next two Cabinet Ministers or Parliamentary Secretaries will attend the party office every Saturdayfor two hours and address the grievances of the people.

Deputy Chief Minister, Chowna Mein  reiterated that the BJP government under the able-leadership of Pema Khandu has serious political will to transform Arunachal Pradesh by focusing on certain core areas such as agriculture, horticulture and tourism which increase the GDP of the State.

Underscoring that the founding goal of BJP had not been power but for all round development of the people and believed in team work and commitment through process of consultative decision, DCM also shared that the recent budget of the State Government was conceptualized and prepared in line with the policies and plan of the central government.

Mein also extended greetings to the party workers and urged all to work hard to make the state Congress-free. ‘Panchayat election is looming so we all have to pull-up our socks for thumping majority,’ he said.

While speaking on history and development of BJP, former State President and Former MLA, Tapen Siga elaborated in detail historical, philosophical and ideological background of BJP.

He highlighted the contributions made by the pioneers like Shyama Prasad Mukherjee, Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyay, Atal Bihari Vajpayee and others. He elucidated the basic ideas of integral humanism and the approach to governance base on the philosophy of integral humanism such as ‘Sab ka Saath, Sabka Vikas.’ He explained five tenets of BJP—commitment to nationalism and national integration, to democracy, to Gandhian socialism, to positive secularism and to value based politics.

Resource person, Dr. Tangor Tapak, former State President briefed about BJP working system and achievements of Modi sarkar.  

Pointing out the difference in working mode between the Congress and BJP, Tapak said that BJP is a karyakarta based party while Congress is a dynasty based party. The ideology of BJP focused on building a strong cadre base by training and grooming party workers. It encourages inner party democracy by promoting healthy discussion and debate and thereby taking decision through a consultative process for building strong team spirit in the party, added Tapak.

  AT BOMDILA, 

BJP District unit West Kameng also celebrated BJP foundation day along with rest of the country here at newly established office with much fanfare.

  Earlier in the morning, President BJP West Kameng unit, Sambu Siongju formally inaugurated new BJP office in presence of Naresh Glow former Minister cum in-charge BJP Tawang District along with other senior party workers like Gandhi Sakrinsow senior Prem Thilley Sunickjee and Niri Chongroju and office bearers.

President, Sambu Siongju, while congratulating the workers resolved to work for the development of people from grassroots level.

In all the districts across the state the Staphana Diwas was celebrated with same fervour and enthusiasm. Party flag was hosted in all the districts and right down to mandal offices. Talks were given on the various achievements by respective legislators of various districts about Modi sarkar as well as on the philosophy and ideology of BJP, contribution of the founding fathers of the Party, at various places thorough out the State.

 On the momentous moment, all the party workers resolved to make Arunachal Pradesh a Congress-mukt state.

 AT BALIJAN,

 The 37th Sthapana divas  was also observed at songdupotta upper Balijan, Papumpare District, senior  BJP leader cum in-charge East Kameng District Techi Necha unfurled the party flag and highlighted  the history of the  growth of Bharatiya Janata party.

 AT TEZU,

 Local MLA and Minister for Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Mahesh Chai unfurled the party flag in presence of the party workers to observe the BJP Sthapna Divas. On the occasion he also urged the workers to work for the upliftment of party and state.
