ITANAGAR, Sep 25: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Arunachal Pradesh  observed the 106 birth anniversary of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay as part of 'Sewa Pakhawada' (A Service Fortnight)  at Chimpu followed by tree plantation at Govt. Secondary school Chimpu, Itanagar.   The programme was attended by top office bearers of the party including Biyuram Wahge MLA cum State President, Mayor Tame Phassang, and MLAs Dasanglu Pul, Jummum Ete Deori. State President Biyuram Wahge highlighted about the mission and vision of Pandit Deendayal which inspires to contribute to the nation building process. He urged karyakartas to follow in the footsteps of Pandit. The day was also observed across the state which was marked by tree plantation at every booth level as part of Sewa Pakhawada.
