ITANAGAR, Nov 8: The two days state BJP Mahila Morcha state executive meeting which concluded here today discussed various issues confronting society and other issues of the party.
Member of Parliament (Arunachal East) Tapir Gao, Minister Health & Family Welfare and SJETA Alo LIbang, State BJP President and Pakke Kessang MLA Biyuram Wahge, Hayuliang MLA Dasanglu Pul, Lekang MLA Jummum Ete Deori, BJP Organising Secretary Anant Narayan Mishra, state BJP Media Incharge Tadar Niglar, BJP National executive member Akani Devi and several others addressed the two day session. 
Addressing the function as chief guest, Minister Alo LIbang in his address said that Mahila morcha is the backbone of the whole party. Mahila (women) play an important role in the formation of society and running of family and the BJP is the biggest family and party in the world having the highest strength of karyakartas.
Libang urged upon the karyakartas to create mass awareness on several centrally and state sponsored schemes for the welfare of people and development of much needed section of society. 
The major discussion was focused on the two schemes of state government in the agriculture sector Atmanirbhar krishi yojna and in horticulture Atma nirbhar Bagwani yojna which would benefit the needy farmers across the state. Women empowerment issue and female participation in government and governance irrespective of cast and religion, prevention of polygamy practice in society. While strongly condemning polygamy practice in the state, the house also urged upon the state government to constitute expert body to prepare customary law against polygamy practice in the state. 
Several others issues were also discussed which include facilities for girl child, chief minister’s arogya Arunachal yojna, free ration and free vaccine across the state and country.    
State BJM Mahila Morcha President Higio Aruni thanked the central government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi for providing free vaccine for all section of society across the country. 
She appealed to all the women of the state to join hands together for the welfare of respective family, community, area, district and state as a whole in all fields and appealed for extending help to each other for a better Arunachal in the times to come.
Akani Devi attended the function as guest of honor and also addressed the gathering. 
MP Tapir Gao, BJP President Biyuram Wahge and other dignitaries also spoke on various issue of the party activities, for strengthening of party right from grass root and welfare of people, implementation of several centrally and state sponsored schemes for needy and deserving people. 
The house prayed for good health and long life of senior BJP leader LK advani; condolence was offered to Late Kabak Yama, district President of Mahila Morcha Kamle district who passed away recently.
