ITANAGAR, Jun 6: A mega rally under the BJP Western Parliamentary constituency on the completion of 9-years of the Modi government and 7-years of the Pema Khandu government in the State was held  at IG  Park, Itanagar on Tuesday.
State BJP President, Biyuram Wahge while highlighting the various developmental programmes said "everybody knows what Modi ji did for the country during the last 9-years and its achievement should reach to the grassroots level through the karyakartas." He said that the leaders and karyakartas of BJP sacrificed a lot for the party during the last 70 years adding "today we can see the fruits of their sacrifice and the party will always remember and reward them in due course of time."
CM Pema Khandu while congratulating Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his team for transforming India at the highest level in all fronts, highlighted the aim and objective of 9 years completion of Modi Government at the Centre and 7 years 'seva, sushasan, samriddhi' in the state. 
Arunachal Pradesh was always challenging in the communication and connectivity sectors, but now in all sectors it has seen transformation, Khandu said. He added that the responsibilities of BJP is increasing in Arunachal Pradesh as lots of potential could not be harnessed due to lack of awareness which needs to be accelerated. The Chief Minister highlighted various schemes for the welfare of the people and urged the karyakartas to be aware about the government schemes and carry forward at the grass root level to avail the benefits.    
On the law and order issue of Itanagar Capital region, he said that safety and security is top most priority of the government. Khandu said that Itanagar is the heart adding that government is handling law and order issue with iron hand.
Kiren Rijiju, Union Minister highlighted the developmental projects initiated for the state and also shares his experiences as union minister under the leadership Narendra Modi since from 2014 to till date while discharging his duty with most sincerity and dedication for the nation. He said that there was policy of congress government that no proper road should be connected to the international border areas. But after Modi government came to power in 2014, policy changed for development in the border areas, Rijiju said. 
He assured that before 2024, 4G network will connect villages of the state. He appreciated the Chief Minister Pema Khandu and his team for best financial management in the state and also  appreciated the Prime Minister for his blessing towards Arunachal Pradesh and North East for all round development in the region.
On bandh culture, Rijiju said that in a democracy everybody has right to protest but should not disturb others.
