PASIGHAT, Feb 3: Pasighat West MLA Ninong Ering today inaugurated the block development office for Bilat Community Development (CD) block here in Ruksin subdivision in presence of DC Tayi Taggu, Ruksin ADC Tajing Jonnom, PD (DRDA) Tajing Padung, former MLA Tatung Jamoh and others.  
Congratulating the people, Ering on the occasion stated that massive exercises were there behind the curtains and finally we could realize it today. Conveying his gratitude to the Chief Minister Pema Khandu, the MLA opined that Khandu’s leadership in the state must be appreciated by one and all as we have witnessed visible developments in all fronts in the state. “Even I being a leader from opposition political party have never faced any difficulty for developmental activities of my constituency. Making this office fully functional, required infrastructural resource, manpower and financial resource were granted by the state government”, he added. Most of the welfare schemes implemented by the government for the poorer section of  society including MGNREGA would be implemented here through the block office and therefore officials should be sincere, dedicated and people friendly. He expressed hope that the new block office would definitely bridge the gap between officials and public minimizing the burden of Ruksin block office and miseries of common masses of Bilat and adjoining areas. Robust road network, modern transportation was the key to economic growth, prosperity and transformation in every sphere of life, the MLA said adding that he has been doing his best in this regard.
Deputy Commissioner Tayi Taggu in his brief address said the new block office at Bilat was essential for community based development of Mirem, Bilat and Ledum villages. Taking privilege, Taggu urged the people to refrain from illegal hunting-fishing saying that it could lead to significant ecological impacts and poses serious long-term implication. The DC instructed the government officials to deliver their services to the people with ‘Seva Motive’.
