DAPORIJO, Aug 6: In connection with bank loan oriented schemes programmes, a district level coordination meeting was held here in Daporijo, Upper Subansiri District on Wednesday.
Chairing the meeting, Deputy Commissioner, Kanto Danggen explained the aims and objectives of the meeting and asked the bankers and HoDs to come together and discuss ways to improve coordination among them so as to make the procedure for loan oriented schemes more organized and hustle free. He also suggested that the District Level Screening Committee should strive for selection of genuine candidates and HoDs to prepare innovative project proposals under Aatmanirbhar Bharat Scheme.
Highlighting on the importance of educating the people on ways to avail different loan oriented schemes, the DC asked the HoDs to come-out with scheme names along with point wise citations which are to be incorporated into pamphlets and to be launched on the upcoming Independence Day. He said that these pamphlets will bring information in public domain and interested persons could avail the schemes.
Speaking at the meeting, MLA Er Taniya Soki urged for greater coordination among the Bankers and HoDs in implementing the loan oriented schemes effectively in the district. Emphasising on the Aatmanirbhar Bharat Schemes, he asked the HoDs and Bankers to come out with new mindset, new ideas and progress together. He suggested that the district has many minds to lead and given the opportunity and the right platform, the youth and the entrepreneurs of Upper Subansiri District will benefit from Aatmanirbhar Bharat Scheme.
