BOMDILA, Oct 1: Deputy Commissioner West Kameng presided over the District Consultative Committee meeting held for the March and June quarter today. Representative of all the banks of the district and concerned HoDs participated in the meeting to discuss the overall performance of banks up to June quarter 2021. The house deliberated on various schemes like KCC, PMEGP, PMMY, SHGs, NULM, PMJDY, Swalamban Yojana etc. DC advised the bankers to improve the CD ratio of district. He also asked them to proactively follow up the DDU- Swalamban Yojana at their regional office. He stressed upon the need to install ATMs at all the unbanked areas and to encourage women to open bank account under PM Jan Dhan Yojana.
Issues of bank accounts for students, Atma Nirbhar Krishi Yojana and Atma Nirbhar Bhagwani Yojana were also discussed.
The house unanimously passed the resolution to shift the Arunachal Pradesh Rural Bank branch from Bhalukpong to Thrizino and to install ATMs at Thrizino, Balemu, Shergaon and Sharda Mission Khasso and also suggest to open Customer Service Point (CSP) in many areas of the district to give maximum benefit to the remote areas of the district.
