ITANAGAR, Dec 26: On the 4th day of the Brahmaputra Aamantran Abhiyaan (BAA) today the expedition teams reached Ramsing where they will halt after rafting from Cherring.
2 rafts carrying 8 rafters along with 4 local guides started from the Cherring halt point at 0845 hrs and reached Ramsing at around 1200 hrs. The team will be halting here as per the expedition’s schedule. Meanwhile, on Friday, the team reached Cherring rafting from Palsi. Rescue equipment along with 3 inflatable rubber boats and 4 OBMs are accompanying the rafters throughout the rafting expedition.
Commandant 12 NDRF Rajesh Thakur along with other officers are accompanying the rafters in the day-to-day expedition.
