ITANAGAR, Dec 24: On the second day of Brahmaputra Aamantran Abhiyaan (BAA), the adventurous river rafting expedition that commenced on Wednesday from Gelling in Upper Siang, the expedition teams today while on the way to Purung halted at the Palsi camp.
Prior to making the halt, 2 rafts and 8 rafters along with 4 local guides after completing the first day’s journey halted at the Tuting point and after recommencing rafting at 11.55 am from here reached Palsi at around 13.30 pm. A team from the NDRF carrying all necessary rescue equipment along with 3 boats and 4 inflatable rubber boats constantly accompanied the rafters. The team will halt at the Palsi camp site as per expedition schedule.
