ITANAGAR, Sep 18:The In-service training for the teachers of the Government Schools of Capital Complex organised by the District Administration Capital Complex in collaboration with Azim Premji Foundation began today at Dorjee Khandu Convention Centre, IG Park, Itanagar.

The Deputy Commissioner Capital Complex Prince Dhawan emphasized on the importance of team work as teaching is a noble job that requires passion and stressed that team work should be the top priority to share the problem in teaching learning process for imparting knowledge in the best way.

Teachers play the most important role in a student’s life therefore it is necessary that you have that passion to do justice to your job and take ownership of the children to shape up the future of the student, stressed the DC.

The training is also organised to ensure two way communication and sharing of knowledge as it will not only help the trainees to gain knowledge but also to impart and share their knowledge and that is how the knowledge grows as learning is a continuous process, he added.

The DDSE Capital Complex Mallo Yam Hello also stressed on imparting quality education to the students without being biased on social or economic grounds.

Just coming and attending duty in the school is not enough rather teachers should try to create a conducive atmosphere for effective teaching and learning process, stressed the DDSE.

GC Baruah, Assistant Director SCERT also briefed on different methods of teaching to bridge the gap in quality education. He also briefed about the role of SCERT being one of the institutions wherein research work is done in collaboration with the guidelines of NCERT for imparting quality education to students in particular.

Bijoy Das from Azim Premji Foundation also emphasized on the importance of imparting quality education. He lauded the DC for initiating such training for the betterment of the student community. He also briefed about the Azim Premji Foundation.

Earlier, Tori Gadi APO informed that more than 700 teachers of Government Schools of Capital Complex would undergo training under the initiative of DC, ICC in collaboration with various institutes and private schools of the Capital Complex.

The 2nd batch of In-service teachers training also started at Holy Cross School where Tame Yajum EAC also stressed on the importance and purpose of the training and urged the teachers to take maximum benefit as it is being held for the betterment of the student community.
